I'm not sure if technical was the word i was looking for.when i read what the PSP was gonna have it seemed like way too much crap and it was gonna be a bit bigger than the GBA,even the regular GB, so i thought it had too much and the price will probably be insane what do u guys think?

Considering it's going to be released well over a year from now, technology will be more powerful yet smaller at the same time - along with cheaper to produce.

ya hopefully for them so i think they'll both sell well because they both deliver quite different things. well hopefully for nintendo im right or they're all out screwed.

Then there's battery life.

PSP prolly gonna be slighly larger than GBA and less battery life . . .

all i know is, Nintendo better do something cuz PSP is a big threat to the GBoy line whether they want to acknowledge it or now

Playstation is a strong marketable name . . slap that name on the product, and watch out . . .

I assume the development kits will be very similar to PS games, providing for easy ports of PS classics as well as new games in an all-too-familiar format.

Those mini-discs are not a familiar format.
No one has ever developed a game on them. I see this as just another WonderSwan. More powerful don't equal more sales. We know that all too well.

But putting Playstation on something insteed of Wonderswan equals more sales.

Then agian Nintendo started with a new fimilar format for there gamecube if you want to be technical.

It may do well. It will include a few USB ports and an I-Link port both of which are on the PS2 and Computers. If companies see it a good idea to produce for it I don't see why they wouldn't. The only probelm here for Nintendo would be to make sure they relases somthing semi in the ball field for the average consumer to "oooo-aww" at. Sony may have a winning idea if they can somehow use there brand name to swing 40 million PS2 owners around the world to purchase this system. It would cause the Cube-GBA links to lose some of their thunder if they do incorperate some of the features between the two Sony systems.

I would be a cool idea if you could trasfer save data and picture between the PSP to the PS2 and 3.

ya i guess the sony fanboys are pretty rich because they buy every game they have so i guess they'd be able to afford it.
