Exactly, it's a good strategy to take to try to pull the rug from under Sony and the PS3.

Agreed, its a good move by MS to not support Sony's format. I am not surprised at all in those articles. They were hoping previsouly that they would combine formats earlier this year, which would delay the PlayStation even further. Sony got a big break, but this next optical media war is getting interesting.

Rumor has it that they will filter this down to the xbox 360 on an "updated" version next year. We'll see I guess.
