To Import?...Not To Import?

I remember when the PS2 came out in Japan, and it was mass hysteria! People were importing it over here and people were putting down like 2,000 bucks to receive on off of ebay.It was the same way when it arrived here as well. All this brought to my mind a question I had back then in 2000. Would you import the PS3 from Japan, wait 6-9 months more till it comes out in the States, or (if u live in Europe) wait 6 more months to play the PS3?

C'mon guys! U mean NO ONE would die at the thot of being 1st to play Tekken 5 or MGS 4 or something 6-9 months before anyone else?

hmm if u guys waited like 2-3 yrs for a ps2 and then once its released in japan and u must import it cuz u cant wait another 6-9 months id say ur an idiot, why import? ur still gonna have to buy a US version later on, well u wont have to but u get my point, cant u wait another year? lol i mean i want ps3 just as much as anyone else on this forum (including all xbox fanboys here, cuz they know they want a ps3 since xbox blows :) )
but heh if ur that unpatient maybe u should get the import, me....ill just wait tll ps3 comes out in US and till ill b able to get it freely in the store, id rather enjoy those 6-9 months of my life, cuz after i receive a ps3 it will b fantasy world for me, heh ill lock myself in the room and play untill i cant play nomore, or my eyes bleed, or i just starv myself to death, after im done with all my supplies :)

hmm maybe it does but maybe it doesnt, lol but i just think that when u see an xbox fanboy on this website, or any other ps3 website and they try to diss ps3 i just think that they are just jealous and wish that they havent bought xbox and shoud have stayed with the ps2, same goes for all ps2 fanboys on xbox sites if there are any, and from what ive seen from my friends who own, or owned xbox wish they never bought it, so that last comment i posted was only based on my knowledge and observation of my friends :) so i dunno u decide if im a fanboy or nt, heh i dunno, plus i wish that all this BS between ps3 and xbox2 would stop and actually unite in online play cuz that would b the best, maybe a game like socom for both ps3 and xbox2 where ps3 clans woould fight xbox2 clans, kinda like windows and mac games, but i dunno if that will ever happen, probably not :(

yeah it goes both ways...people on the xbox forums shit on ps3 and people on the ps2 forums shit on xbox2
