According to the article the psp will be more like the playstation when it comes to programming and thus would be easier to program for. If it is easier to program with then more games would be availabe by launch. But other developers wanted to have it program like the ps2, that way they could take full advantage of the PS2's hardware. What is your oppinion?

im not trying to critcize but, i read the same article and most people, (i don't know about you) say that the ps2 is difficult to program and that is why it doesn't have as good graphics as GC and Xbox, but IGN says other wise. They say that developers want the programming like the ps2 for the PSP so they can take full advantage, now is it me or are people that post here talking our of there asses. Developers are saying that they are using the ps2 to there full advantage and using all of the potentional of the hardware. I just wish people would post there sources.

well, most of what ive read on IGN has been somewhat true, but i only read select things like about the ps3, metal gear games, and final fantasy stuff, and somtimes online gaming. But the bullshit that i get is from this site, people like that Scott guy, he talks out of his ass too much, he deson't ever back up shit that he says, tell him that he needs to stop spreading bullshit, he is making the National Inqiouioer look like neckolodean magazine. or whatever. just tell him to get his shit together.

if your talking about the admin scott guy i find that from what ive read that he's put is based on facts and are all sensible things to say. and maybe he doesnt give something to show why he says the things he says because he assumes that everyone has braincell's in their brain

This is actually a very good thing. The PS2 was difficult to program for, and still is more difficult to program for. This is because Sony designed it to do a totally new way of computing. As time passes, the games get better because the programmers figure more stuff out. Sony doesn't have time for this when they are going against stiff competition (like the GBA). They have to get the goods out quick and show the power of the PSP. The easiest way to do this is to provide developers with libraries so they don't have to figure everything out, they can just make great games. This was a great move on Sony's part.
