Why does everyone love GTA?!? It is sooooo boring, shooting, driving, walking doing stupid missions. The only thing that has improved over the years in the GTA series is the graphics and thus more cars and weapons. FF has much better story's which sometimes even make you cry: FFVI Celes jumps from rock on small island; FFX Yuna walking trough Tidus who fades away; FFVII Aerith's death.

Big deal,GTA3 Fido taking out the mob boss that betrade you,or backstabing the yakuza crime lord to start a gang war,mabe escaping hundreds of columbians too save that girl.It may not make you cry,but it makes you laugh,sigh,and say "Damn thats cool!".Boring isn't a word used for GTA,but catching chicobobs is.

I vote for FF, but till FFVII. FFVIII and FFX have nothing in common with FF serie. They have only beautiful graph and CGIs but story is the weakest point of them...

I suppose Gran Turismo's my choice. While Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid are both incredible franchises, Gran Turismo's all about just having fun. Like the other two, it has the graphics and gameplay, but I feel Gran Turismo's the best for casual gameplay. You can progress at your own pace and do as much or as little as you want. It's all about collecting, tweaking, and enjoying the realism of the graphics.

Gotta agree with Jehuty on this one (and no I don't suck at GTA, I've finished both GTA3 and VC). The games just weren't that interesting - I only finished them because I felt if I carried on playing they'd get better... Then they didn't...

Final Fantasy is a good series, but can be a little hit or miss. I think the best series for consistently quality games is either Metal Gear, or SSX.

I voted Final Fantasy, its just so expansive and dosn't show many signs of slowing down in continuing to provide the greatness associated with it.

The answer to this question is, for most people, closely related to their favorite game genres. If you like racing obvious GT is likely to be the best for you, if you like stealth and shooting then Metal Gear.

I can't see anyone going wrong with either one personally.

the only thing about the ff series is the new designer...but we will see what he is made of soon enough. but i disagree with you because i fell the ff series did take a turn for the worse with the last games that came out i thank it started to fall apart at 10 and the 10-2 just dieded anyway that's my opinion about ff

There should be some other choices... Such as DMC, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Armored Core, etc... You get the idea.
However, I chose MGS out of the mere 3 choices given :roll:.

I've spent many an hour playing Gran Turismo, seems like I was playing that game for ages. One of those, "just one more race" kinda games to me.
