which mags do you all subscribe to? i've had a PSM subscription since issue 1 (first 6 months were free), and now i have a free 2-year subscription to EGM and some other one i can't even remember the name of as well.

i thought about getting the official mag once, mostly for the demo cds that come with it, but this late in the ps2's lifespan i don't care about that now really.

I subscribed to Edge Magazine recently. Being the editor of my own magazine, I never really tend to look at other magazines too much. Don't know why, just never really had interest in them.

PSM. I get the rest of my info off the Net. I don't really need much more than that.

I've been running a magazine with a few friends for the last couple of years. It's only a local magazine, but we have a nice little fanbase, which is cool. :)

Got the PSP July issue last, alot better than the previous few issues, read alot more of it than usual. Massive E3 review too.

Well, Edge is a nice magazine but you can’t really compare it with its old self. I have all its issues right from the very first one back in 1993 and I can say that is no longer the passionate, different, truly independent, mag that was back then…
Let me remind you some of its recent articles… “Bored of videogames?” “Mainstream, why the numbers of Hard-core Gaming is numbered.” Need I go on?
From the passionate, truly devoted to gaming mag that once was, now it’s a sum of misery, irony and pessimism. It can’t really enjoy its subject anymore: gaming.
I really hope for Edge to become like old times… To enjoy games once again. :(

Had a glance through some old Edge mags (from the PlayStation launch times) and I have to say it is much better today. Back then it was poorly written, had spelling mistakes and was totally biased.

Exactly. The problem with Edge today is that it cares more about professionalism and style, but less about games like once did…

I never said that there was a problem with Edge today.

i have only read few reviews but they do look very honest and arnt afrid of giving a game with hype a shite mark they seem to tell the truth!
