No i wonder if he is actually somone who went or was just a fake or he was given it i am sure everybody would be able to get 1?
It's not impossible to get into E3. In the US, all you really have to do is work in one of the gaming stores like Gamestop or EB I think.

I know and i am sure the public can go into parts of E3 cant they!
I'm not sure actually. I think it may just be "media".

Is the show open to the public?
No, E3 is not open to the public. E3 is a trade event and only professionals from the industry will be allowed to attend. Individuals who are not able to document their direct, professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry are not qualified to attend E3. All E3 attendees are required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) upon request.

Oh thought on the edge dvd the ppl inside looked like the public!
So you are able to distinguish between the general public and people from the gaming industry? I wasn't aware that they looked different :)
But yea, you need to go through a lot of stuff to be able to get into E3.

well i thought so but never mind i think it may be just the media but i dont want to be bothered with this debate anymore.
I've just noticed something on E-bay. I'm a new user of E-bay so what I say may be wrong here. I was bidding for Pilot wings 64 and it had a few days left, yet when I entered a bid the bid would increase straight away, then again and again and again. I'm thinking that it must be the seller increasing the price in order for someone to bid higher again until he/she is making enough money on the item for sale.
Perhaps it's just me, I'm sure someone can fill me in on this one.

Its called a maximum bid, since some people can't be at their computer all the time... lets say the bid starts at $1US, they are going away for 3 days and the item ends tommorow, so they put in what they think they are willing to pay, so let's say they enter $20 as their bid, the current bid now is $1, BUT their maximum is $20! So let's say you bid $5US on it, the bid now is $5.01 and ebays tells you have been outbid because e-bay automaticaly bids for the original user who entered the $20US max bid.
So basically some people enter what they are willing to pay, and you must bid over that amout to win the item.
Ah thanks, I'm one step closer to becoming the perfect e-bayer now... :)
The thing to do is hang around when there is a couple of minutes to go on something. That's usually when most people try to snatch it away from you at the last minute. I found that, if you're not too bothered about the final price going up slightly, was to put in a larger maximum bid near the end. For example, if you're previous maximum bid was £20, and the price was coming close to that, then put on something like £30 late in the day. Then if somebody tries to snatch it at the last minute (and it's usually by a small amount), then they won't get it.
May have already known about that, but if not, then there's something else you've learnt for buying on eBay :)
