well i wanted a 850Ci but the bank wouldn't give me a loan for a 12 year old car. and hey $16k for a turbocharged two door with 4wheel disk breaks 17" factory wheels a pop up spoiler AND i can get it in a stick 8)

Acctually, if Gt4 will support LAN play we can play online. I've been playing TimeSplitters 2 online for quit a while now using the XLink Kai: Evolution VII (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/) software. It's a very usefull app, even for GC and Xbox seeing you wouldn't need to pay for Xbox LIVE to play online but ofcourse... you wouldn't have Xbox LIVE.
I just hope it supports LAN...

well in a way i think is good that the online mode will be released later on. that way i get enough time to collect a decent amount of cars and cash. so i can trade online later on for even more cash. :wink:

They've spent the last God knows how many years trying to perfect 4WD. The only people who have managed to do it successfully are Audi. BMW apparently bought Rover so that they could use their 4WD technology, which still didn't work.

I'm also told that they're just not very good as far as design and performance go.

I don't know how much of a bias there is on the information I'm giving, because my Dad works for Audi. :)

There are technical flaws in BMW.And its true.BMW is not attracting customers which it supposed to.I will prefer Mercedes over BMW.

yeah they said that they will be releasing one later on but nothing confirmed yet and no release date either. i guess the only reason there isn't going to be an online mode coming right out the box is because sony want's it to hit the shelfs already. But i'm sure i read at IGN that online mode has not been discarded but postponed.

I read in PSM that Sony said some time in 2005. No reason given is right, and no definate date. I just hope they aren't tryin to nick us all for more cash by seperateing GT4 and GT4 on-line. I hope that it is because they want a truely robust on-line experience. To bad.... :x

Has Sony said definitely if online is cut out for good for ps2 for GT4? Because i dont like the idea of racing online with that 4 inch screen when i can be playing it on a 36 inch screen. PSP is awesome dont get me wrong

They've taken out the online feature for GT4, but they've hinted at an online expansion at a later date.

Halo, Halo 2 Over hyped and over rated, based of a book because bungie and microsoft have never been able to come up with a good selling idea of their own.

Before you go around making baseless comments like that do some research, if you did you would have found out the Bungie hired Eric Nylund to write the book, AFTER Halo came out.

Since this is a GT4 topic, I guess I could say this
without going off topic :D
Lot's of people don't know. It's a Malaysian design.
You probably have heard of Lotus? Well, it's owned
by the Malaysian car manufacturer Proton.
Proton makes a lot of cars, but most are in Malaysia,
Australia, NZ and UK. That's it I think.

Out of the whole bunch, the top quality high end one
would be mine :D (hahaha, ok sorry, but it is)

It's a Proton Satria GTi, twice the price of a Proton
Satria (which is a crap model), has the same body,
but, the GTi's interior is completely different
with Recaro's as standard, the whole dash. And the
exterior has a bodykit and 16" alloys. Only comes in
silver.

Now for the cool part, the engine. It's not running a
local engine under the hood like all the other
local cars, there's a 140bhp Mitsubishi DOHC 1.8L engine,
same used in the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO III GSR cars.
The engine is completely retuned by Lotus, as is the suspension,
ride handling, and all kinds of crap, all tuned by Lotus.

its a shame that gran turismo gets so boring so fast. in my opinion, they should get real pple to race on the tracks hundreds of times so when u race its like ur racing real people, and if they car crashes then the AI can kick in and then go back to "real"mode. make sence?

anyways, i love me some viper. it looks badass, and has 450 bhp under the hood. awesome acceleration and looks. unfortunately, it's never the best car in gt. The best would have to be the polyphony race car in gt3. weighs next to nothing, lots of hp, handles like a dream.
