PSP GPS

Is PSP gonna use the old GPS system. I hear its very inaccurate.
Anyone heard of

GALILEO
European Satellite Navigation System

I hard about it a few years ago. Loads of countries in Europe are building satellites for the system. It is made up of 30 satelites, and will be world wide, and accurate to within 1 meter.
In the beginning America tried to stop the project as they wanted to have countrol over everything in space.

I think it will work with old GPS technologies, so when everything is in place, PSP will be able to use it: http://europa.eu.int/comm/dgs/energy_transport/galileo/index_en.htm

It's an interesting system, mainly because (IIRC) it doesn't have the built-in "fuzziness" in civilian devices (which GPS does). This means it's a far more useful tool for, say, hillwalkers, mountain climbers, and the mountain rescue teams which have to go after them.
