im curious to know if it would be possible to play multiplayer games over the internet, i live all the way in turkey and well i dont think theres any way of playing multiplayer psp games except over the internet, can someone please tell me if this is possible or if theres another way because i would really love to be able to play volcanus online

if you're asking if the psp can be played over the internet, then the answer is that you can play over the internet.
if you are asking if it can have close range multiplayer (without the use of the internet), then yes, you can also do that. (LAN/adhoc mode)
but either one of these multiplayer modes depends on the game using them.
some may only feature one mode or both.

neptunez that is basically what i wanted to know but just to make sure would it be easy and quick to start playing an online game at anytime and anywhere in the world over the internet??

If you are near a wi-fi point then yes it willl be very easy.

unfortunately i very much doubt that we'll ever have a wi-fi point here in turkey.

WWOOO all i can say is it is unlucky but anyways at the momennt there arnt that many in the UK but they will soon be around so you probably will see a few it just takes time.

Yes without a doubt usually every game is single player as well as multiplayer if it is.

So I dont need a router or watever to play my friend on a game as long as he is close to me? So as long as we both flip the wireless switch and say were sitting 15-20 ft. away we can play eachother without a wireless router?

Yes, that is correct. And I believe that the range will be alot more than 20 ft, 100 at least maybe even up to 300 ft.

That'd seriously depend on the type of Wireless connection the PSP will use.
For example, Wireless G has a transfer rate of 54Mbp/s, but it's range is limited to 150 ft max (30M). While A, and B has longer range, but it has slower transfer rates.
