In case you've missed out on this classic, which is a crime on it's own, Rockstar is giving you a second chance to finally play the second installement in the Gta series - for free. Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto 2 for download on their Rockstar Classics (http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/) page, as they did earlier with Grand Theft Auto and Wild Metal.

I recommend you download the two original Gta games and know it's roots

Wasn't a huge fan of GTA 2 to be honest, I prefered the first game for some reason. I'll probably work out why one day :)

Might just download it anyway, even though I've got the GTA Collector's Edition pack.

Well, there's no reason to turn down a free game, but, personally, I'd never pay money for the first batch of GTA games. (1, 2, and London.)

They were worth buying at the time, they're just very dated now.

I see. Personally, I was never a fan of the older games, and, once I played GTA3, there was no reason to look back. Although, with the free download, I should consider giving the games another chance.

Well that's my opinion anyway. At the time the game was out, I couldn't legally buy the game myself, so I spent a lot of time playing the PSW demo disk :)

I ended up persuading my Mum to buy it for me :D

I always prefared the first one to the second, I can't really explain why but I think that it just lacked the substance of the first. As for GTA London, I can just about remember that.

Hahaha, that's a nice feel-good story right there. I'm lucky, though - I never had a problem buying "higher rated" games when I was younger. Back in my day, we only had Mortal Kombat. (And we liked it!) No one really knew back then so there was no problem. By the time people stared getting upset about the content in games, we had eBay. :D

It was always easy persuading my Mum to buy me games like that. I nagged her about Mortal Kombat on the Mega Drive so much that she ended up buying it for me so that I would stop nagging her. :)

I really sould have tried this nagging thing, it seems to have worked wonderfully for Matt.

Worth a try anyway. Just a shame I can't do it anymore, well, it's not as if I need to now.

Well I can't either, I thin k I'm older than you Matt. :)

I'm 19 and I still nag my mum, and I will be until I'm 30. :P
