Garmon Battle will be sort of like Pokemon, except for a few changes to gameplay. You will be able to design and customize your monsters to your personal liking. The game is set to include a Story Mode, VS Mode and Monster Exchange. Garmon Battle is slated for October in Japan, no word on a release in any other region.

Like Pokemon, eh? I'd like to see how this one turns out.
Yea, "sort of like Pokemon" means huge sales in Japan.

Good Point
And.....if the monsters or what not were a little more mature looking it might even do better over here in the us and other countries... thats only if they are making for countries other than Japan.

Only that we have a smaller gamecube owning population than in other countries. From a sales point of view it's more important what the countries that have more gamecube owners is a lot more important than our sales.

They'll probably change that name if it comes stateside, and I can assure you that they won't keep the name Baten Kaitos for their other game if it comes over here.
Yea, definite name change.
How will it stack up against Kameo? Probably not as good .... Rare's had about eternity to work with Kameo ... I bet Namco had less than half that time.

Not to mention one is Rare, the other is Namco ;)

A little thing called Tekken and Pac-Man GCN.
Atleast they can put out a few decent games every year.

Namco are the ones responsible for that awful Star Fox showing at E3.
The game was very early ... I'm sure it'll get better.

Yeah, I never judge games from the E3 showing. I just use E3 to see what games will come, and judge them later.
