I think i have come to the next level of gaming.I just realized that i am just not enjoying some kind of games.I feel i am fed up from Blind first person shooters. Most of the RPGs seems to be boring.I think the stage has come when the gamer start maturing. Now i prefer some typical kind of action/adventure games that have some interesting storey lines.
You like or not but i must admit that Zombie games are now started pissing me.The most Dragged RE sequels seems to be boring.I think i should get forward.Would any of you guys feel the same, please Advice me some games that i can Enjoy.

go for some nostalgic gaming. Get some emulators and roms and live play the games from the good old days.
Speaking of which, i finished Metal Slug 2 & 4 tonight. God i love the animations in that game.
What you are experiencing is quite normal. The more we get into something, the more picky we get. For example; you want a digital camera, it is your first. You don't dwell much into the kinds, maker reputations, model No., etc. But if you enjoy it and start to get into digital cameras and photography, you'll start to be more picky, you will check more revies about the different models, you may even check news of tech conventions going around. Maybe even buying tech guides, and so on.
You obviously played many games on many systems. That will move you from being an average gamer to the next level. You start to base your choice not just on appearance, but focus more on things that you didn't care much about before like storytelling, presentation. You start to know the names of developers and designers. You start liking/ disliking some publishers. You may even start conversations about things lie lighting techniques of certain developers, and how a designer used a new water FX idea in a certain game. Thing, in the past, you never really noticed.
It is like movie goers. I only watch the good ones, and I enjoy them very much. But I have no idea about the actors names, budgets, locations, etc. I am not that much involved in movies. But I can answer any question about anime or gaming!
So what you are going through is completely normal. The more exposure we get, the more 'evolved' we become. Thus become more wary and aware of the choices we take in certain directions- including gaming.

well,i still remember one of the matured member of this forums mentioned the similar problem few months ago.I dunno what to do,video games are in my deep blood. Now suddenly i am not finding them to be a part of me.I know its normal but i feels that this event has made a Void in my life.I dont know will i be able to fill it.
Perhaps you can understand its quite difficult to give up years old habits espeacially when you are emotianally and mentally involved in them.

I was experiencing the same problem... they just became hollow and empty
However, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater actually helped. That one single game revitalized me. I had grown bored, looking to the future because the present was growing tedious. But MGS3 is just... incredible
Don't worry. You'll find a game that brings you back. It happens to the best of us, but there's always something that lures us back into that state of mind, where a controller is your outlet for the problems of the world
I'm back, you'll be soon enough as well :)
Same thing happened to me as well. I ended up going back to some of my old consoles for a little while. If you don't have the old consoles, get some ROMs.
