Serious injustice or harmless exposure? The debate over whether the use of eggs in SEGA's upcoming GameCube game "Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg" is exploitative and offensive continues....
People for the Ethical Treatment of Eggs (P.E.T.E.) leads the charge in the latest protest activity.

As you can see, there are some very ridiculous (sp) people out there. Come on!!! P.E.T.E.!!!!????!!!!! How stupid. But......just goes to show you a GC exclusive (i think) game can rouse up some controversy, just like GTA did. ha ha.
hope the game doesn't have to get changed

Even though I have no desire to play the game, or even care about it...
This is pretty funny, in a stupid kind of way.

what it is, is ironic. A (more than likely) E rated video game for the GC, and just for the GC and become a contraversy (sp) just like a M game just for the PS2 did (GTA/VC). An egg...eh.....*wonders what would happen if rolled down a hill, while dressed in a chicken suit*

haha I will buy this game cause of the insane controversy, because controversy around something, especially like this, causes more interest...or something

There is no controversy. Sega made that up themselves as a PR boost. Heres the full press release thingy:

wasn't there also a thing about Maio "hurting" turtles back in the 80's?
either way, i find it odd that Sega woud release that as a PR boost...

i cant believe they are doing that. i bet that after they decided to go against sega, they all went out to breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs.

they should make the objective of the game to get the egg to the frying pan at the end of the level, then ask "Scrambled, Sunny Side Up, Overeasy, or Fried?"
For thsoe who still don't know
THE EGG THING IS JUST A PROMOTION METHOD FROM SEGA
..yea.
