Dark cloud 3

is there a release date for the next DC yet? and is it for ps2 or psp? thanks in advance.

There hasn't been to much info on Dark Cloud 3, mainly because Level 5 (which develop the Dark Cloud games) have just realeased (a few months ago) Dragon Quest VIII. Also because Dragon Quest VIII is coming to North America within the next few months.

I really like the Dark Cloud games, there so fun. I'm really hoping the next one has alot of weapons.

Yeah, the most we've seen of the game, which still hasn't even been confirmed as a Dark Cloud sequel, has been a single, CG picture. Personally, I'm hoping they overhaul the battle mechanics for the next game - I hated the enemy AI, easy boss battles, and stiff combat. (I know, I'm really hard on the game.) Nevertheless, I loved the gameplay variety, length, and story. I can't wait to see what they add to the sequel. :D
