For anyone that might know, I heard the memory controller for the Xenon is going to be on the GPU. Since this just seems so unconventional to me, I was just wondering if anyone could explain to me what the reasoning would be for putting it there rather than on the CPU die or the northbridge. Since Microsoft basically came out and said the CPU would be the bottleneck in this system, this just seems bizzarre.
