Will anybody here be playing this game upon its release in mid-September?

Even XBox owners should consider it. They've added the Fuel Rod Gun and Flamethrower to the multiplayer game. Banshees and Covenant Shades are also usable now in multiplayer games. Additionally, there are six new maps for multiplayer. The graphics have gotten a serious overhaul and the game runs on many different low-end to high-end PC's.

Keyboard and mouse support are also included. Supposedly the people over at Gearbox and Bungie are totally willing to support the Mod community as well.

I won't be buying it unless I get a new PC; I bet when they release this they will come out with the Platinum Hits version of Halo for Xbox.

They are trying to make it run on Geforce 2/TNT 2 cards so a lot of people could play (except it wont look as good on a shitty card)...

Provided they release a Mac version of the game, I'll definitely buy it. It's an awesome game. Just not awesome enough to make me want to give Microsoft the money it costs to buy an XBox.

How much memory does your graphics card need to run it? I have a Geforce 4 MX 440 with 64MB memory.

well, a geforce4 mx is basically a slightly pimped version of the true geforce2 video card.

so if what prince is saying is true, then you should be able to run. it just won't look anything at all like the xbox version.
