What's with all those rumors that Square Enix was listed as a 360 Developer on the xbox website for a few minutes?

Do you think that's true? a lot of people are claming to have seen Sqaure Enix listed for a while. If this is real than Sony might have just lost their premium jewel.

i wouldn't doubt it, but is not like square enix is going to come out of nowhere bring their FF franchise to the xbox 360. i believe they might bring some type of game like crystal chronicle was on gamecube ( which failed miserably). the fact is that square enix is not stupid, Playstation fans are the RPG lovers. xbox fans are the FPS lovers and it's clear that square enix will not make an idiotic move as to develop their FF franchise first on xbox 360. i believe they will see how the box performs in terms of sales first.

It was probably a stunt by microsoft but, we'll know for sure after E3.

This is not surprising at all. Around 4Q 2004 to early 1Q of 2005, Square said they were thinking about about supporting Microsoft's next console due to it being a better improvenment over their first. That was already a hint that they wanted to support the console. But, as it was stated earlier, this still doesn't confirm that fact that Final Fantasy will be one of those titles. People should not immediately jump to conclusions once something like this is mentioned. Details must first be given.

Just cause Square is developing a few games on Xbox 360 doesn't mean Square is not developing for PS3 anymore. It'll probably like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronical.
