Customization??

Do you think the PS3 will go the route of 360 and allow for the consumer to personalize their console? If they do i hope its not some crappy stick on ala 360 but some kind of "holographic" wallpaper that surrounds the console.

Something like the PSP's colour - although maybe a user selected set of colours would be the least I'd expect.

I see the PSP as an ideas base for the Ps3 for some reason...

customizations are cool in my book, ppl have different personallities and some like to express them through their stuff.....its not very important for gaming but its an EXCELLENT marketing asset!

I personally would like sony to make a special edition ps3 with better design and materials. For an example, if they make special edition ps3s with anodized aluminium shell, i'm gonna be more than willing to pay the extra buck for it. Instead of the cheap feeling plastic, I want my ps3 uber machine to be stored in a high quality case!!

Forget pimp my ride, this is pimp my console... Why would anyone want to change the colour of a power button on their console? maybe a different design would be cool.
