I think the console itself will be smaller.
As for the controllers, I like it..imagine playing Metroid with one of those in each hand...with the gyroscoptic harware in it, it would be awesome!

It's kinda hard to tell if this is a fake or not since I read something very similiar to the controllers and console (except for the sliding disc tray) the other day. We'll have to wait for this one. But I can tell you right now that I don't like the controllers.

Well for what I'm going to claim as a fake for now, the system looks decent.
As for the controllers all I can say is that it's unique...

How could u judge the size of the console. there isn't anything next to it for u to judge the size of it. for the controllers, I'll have to see how it functions before i decide on whether i like it or not.

I'm picturing a sort of Soul Calibur type game where you swing the controllers around and the motions are repeated on the character. Realtime IK based on the weapon as an effector node should be achievable in terms of computing power. I still don't see it as a totally realistic vision though mainly because of needing more controls than just a pair of hands. Moreover, it would always require recalibration to whoever uses the controllers as longer/shorter arms and such would affect the output of the gyrosensor.
In practice, I see the gyrosensor usage as a far more limited and deterministic translation -- make a mostly up/down motion and you get a vertical attack, make a mostly left/right motion and you get a horizontal attack... But a guy can dream, can't he?
Either way, I see this image overall as a fake. I would expect more "cuteness" than "sleekness" from Nintendo. And the dual controller thing, while pretty unique and interesting, still sounds a little too costly, especially since it means twice the common components (wireless components, batteries, etc). What happens when you lose one of the two? Can you replace only the one you lost? Can you resell to Gamestop/EB missing half a controller?

I think it's a fake - the eject button appears to 'merge' with the console.

Looks like it's bigger than the 3 DVD case rumour.
Might just be a prototype though :D

That thing is the ugliest of the "new" consoles, imo.
