Just so you guys know, GTA: Vice City and State of Emergency are confirmed for PC release.
Once again, less of a reason to buy into the PS2 for me... because once more I find it's so-called "exclusive" sellers on my trusty Xbox... er, I mean, PC.
Anyone looking to buy these titles... if you've got a good comp, you can probobly nab 'em off Kazaa soon.

I bought GTA III last year when it dropped on computer, and I was so much more impressed with it compared to the PS2. Better controls, resolution, draw distances, ability to play my mp3, etc... I will definitely be getting Vice City, too.

I'm using a GeForce2MX 32MB AGP...
That cost me about $25. If you were to go out and spend $60 (about half the gaming budget for most of us this Christmas), your computer could be decked out with a GeForce4 MX 32MB DDR styles... and you could kill a game like Vice City.
One of the neat things about GTAIII PC nobody mentioned was that you customize skins as well. PUT YOUR FACE INTO THE GAME, ROOKIE BIOTCH!

I have decided to get a PS2 because although my PC has the reccommended specs for the games it just can't handle them well enough and at times it can be a pain in the ass and with Sony still having the GTA license for the next two years the games might be becoming more graphical demanding which I why I have chosen to go with the PS2. Plus I'll ge the GTA games an extra 6-8 months before they are released on PC.
I KNOW my Desktop or Laptop could never handle a game even close to this (They can't even handle GTAI) so I got a PS2 a little over a month ago cause I love the GTA series.
If I had a PC good enough, which I will very soon, I would be very excited for this news though.

My PC runs GTA3 (too legit to quit) pretty good, just a few minor graphic pop-ups sometimes. But aiming is a fuck of a lot easier. This is good shit; the only way I would be able to actually play Vice City.

I never played GTA: VC on the PC, but I have on PS2, awesome it is easy to play and the graphics are really good. Its easier on PS2(thats my opinion).

State of Emergency is coming to XBox soon (oh joy... ), and I think Rockstar went as far as to confirm SoE2. Crap.

i got gta3 off kazaa a few months ago just to see how it compares to the ps2 version, i didn't want to pay full price for a simple comparison! i especially love the mp3 radio station ability. however i don't have a functional gamepad right now so it's a bit tough at points. i won't bother with vice, i've beaten it for ps2 and i don't really crave any more of it. no momentum left even to get to 100%.
