Currently Apple dosen't make a version of iTunes for Linux and i really need to install iTunes on my Linux box. (fedora core 2)

I know that some can install phantom windows installs onto linux boxes, and I want to know if there is a way to do so with iTunes yet.

Any and all help would be much appreciated.

You could try using Wine, but I've had troubles running any kind of multimedia app with Wine. What do you need iTunes for? If you just want to listen to music, you could try amaroK.

There are alternative media players for Linux but if you need iTunes then use Wine. Some of the emulations come out well like Photoshop 7 and MS Office but I don't know about iTunes.

When I tried getting Winamp 5 to work with wine, I got no sound and it crashed really fast. Good luck.

I noticed you said you use Fedora Core 2. Isn't 4 out?
EDIT: I tried installing iTunes with the latest version of Wine. No good, it fails saying that it will only install on Windows 2000 or XP.
