I just finished Survivor by the same author, and it was great. If you liked the movie Fight Club (which was based on the book of the same title by Chuck Palahniuk), you will like his books.

The Great Gatsby is one of my least favorite books of all time. F Scott Fitzgerald's language is absolutely amazing, but the plot is absolutely terrible.

If you want to know the truth I am reading this thread at the moment, buttttttttttt if you want a suggestion I advise you read A Wrinkle in Time and the other couple stories made after it such as a Swiftly Tilting Planet and there is one other I can't remeber the name of it at the moment this is the good stuff before all that Harry Pothead BULL came out lol Jk. Anyways the book is written by Madeleine L'Engle I have it in my collection shouldn't you?

Fellowship of the Ring.

It's pretty good so far, and I wanted to read a good book, because I haven't since "The Five People You Meet In Heaven", and that was in the beginning of July.

If I keep going at a steady pace, I should have it finished by Saturday morning, and all 3 by sometime next weekend.

The last book I read was Eldest by Christopher Paolini. I'm not reading anything write now, but I will be reading Straken by Terry Brooks as soon as I can get my grimy little hands on it...

Oh, and if this counts, I'm writing a Fantasy Novel currently... kinda like reading one.

I am reading The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan again. I am working my way through the books so I can refresh my mind with all the plot lines before I read book 11. Supposedly from people I know book 11 rips it up. Then it on to the last book. Jordan has joked that you are going to need a wheel barrow to cart book 12 around.

Its a part of a 7 book series and its actually not that bad. Its about a family called the morgans and each book is about a different generation of the family. We printed 3 of the books at work so I'm reading them at work since I have time when the operaters are setting the binder up in between jobs.

And I just began to read The Writer's Journey by Christopher Vogler.

They're both about writing better stories. And I'm definitely all about writing better stories. :happy:

The Watchmen by Alan Moore

It's like one of the best books I have read in my lifetime. Good job of characters. They have such dark pasts and yet a lot of people hate them like terrorists or like them like divine heroes. Rorschach is my favorite character.

I litterly just finsihed The Outsiders by S.E Hinton.
It was a easy read but one of the best books I think I've ever encountered. Its hard to explain how much I could relate to the book even though nothing like what happened in the book had ever happened to me. I read it before when I was like 10 (I used to read a shit load but hardly ever now) but I didn't really 'get it' the way I get it now.
It's a movie as well, I think, but I've never seen it.

I seriously recomend this book.

I'm rereading Anna Karenin by Tolstoy. It's a great novel though somewhat long. But Tolstoy is such a wonderful writer.

I just finished Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I really enjoyed it. Normally dystopian stuff is pretty lame, but this was actually good. I'd recommend it.

Hopefully I will find a good collection of Lovecraftian stories at the local book shoppe when I head into town tomorrow, I've been looking to read The Call of Cthulhu and The Dunwich Horror in full for a while now.
