just got this off ign's message boards. look at the release date, and more importantly the console its coming for. just a mistake? or is this classic gamestop giving away game dates with inside info they have? interesting either way. and it would make alot more sense as to why zelda got delayed

Gamestop dates are always wrong. Don't worry about it.

Haha. Good job finding this. Either they're making up shit, putting down random stuff, or Gamestop strikes again. I have a feeling it seriously can be true. And that release date: November 1st.....wow. Ya know, I believe this has a chance to actually be true about it coming to GC, but I doubt that date is right. Mario 128 has been around for like 4 years now right and should have been in development time for awhile. I think that Shiggy already confirmed that it was going to be for the Revolution but who knows.

If this is true I would probably be happy. I mean graphics in a mario game don't mean anything, that's why this game could be perfect on Gamecube. The only reason it wouldn't be is if it uses some of the Rev's "special features" whatever those may be. Well, we should know on September 16th.

gamestop DATES tend to be off somewhat, simply because the publisher can delay it any point. however, gamestop has a history of posting pretty acurate info on what system a game is coming out for

Read the paragraph below the release date.

^ Yeah, what about it?

Wait, do you mean the part that says this:

NOTE: Content based on the best available information. Price, release date, content and title are subject to change and/or cancellation by vendor.

Cause that goes for any game.

Read the paragraph below the release date.

your point? gamestop does this all the time, they find out ahead of time before anyone else finds out when a game is being released and such, and then posts what is known by the public at the moment. they dont have inside info on what the games going to be like actually, they just find out from the developer that its coming in at this such time

Well, if this is down soon then we'll basically know it's true. If it's down that means by Nintendo's request obviously, so we'll see.

Gamestop as a new source is about as reliable as going in and asking your local EB clerk.

Fellas, it's always been listed this way. They simply haven't updated it yet. Trust me, it's coming to Rev.

No, I'm talking about this:

"Initially believed to be a fully developed puzzle game based on the 100 Marios demo shown at GameCube's unveiling, the title is actually supposed to be a true installment in the Mario action/platformer franchise. Rumored to be the true sequel to Nintendo 64 blockbuster Super Mario 64, Nintendo representatives have given little insight into Mario 128 -- other than the fact that it is indeed in development."

The bold basically says "We don't know so we'll post a date that isn't right."

Seriously, Gamestop and EB need to use "TBA". And never use Gamestop as a tool to find out when games (the ones that havn't gotten an official release) come out.
