This Christopher Paolini guy is a great writer for so young. These books definitely rank up there with the Harry Potter series. I heard they making a films about these, so I hope they dont mess up. It almost as the books were made to be movies.

The big question for Paolini is whether or not he's a one-trick pony.

yeah if he can turn around and write something that doesnt involve fantasy fiction that might solidify him.

I'd like to read these? Are they for everyone or just Young Adults?

They seem to have a general audience, from what I have gathered.

How dare you compare these to Harry Potter!!!! Those suck!

Seriously though, Harry Potter is great an' all, but it has just never striked me very well, and I am a HUGE fantasy junkie.

Eragon on the other hand, I fell in love with that book, I even finished Eldest before it came out. (Best Buy put it on shelves early in anchorage, as a good citizen I should have told them... But the book just looked so good!)
