Has anyone here read any of her books? I just picked up "Philosophy: Who needs it" today and I really am enjoying it, even though it is difficult to read. The book has me really thinking about the basis of capitalsim and why it works the way it does. I was going to pick up "Atlas Shurgged" but I was intimidated by the 1,000 pages and small print.

I read "Anthem" she goes beserk whenever anything that requires you to be with a group (ie religion) means that you have to give up all intelligence and individuality...I guess Soviet Russia hit her real hard.

I love this woman's writing. I've read Anthem, The Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged. While i don't necessarily agree with everything in her books i find them very thought provoking. I recommend starting with The Fountainhead before moving on to Atlas Shrugged. It';s a big more entertaining.
