Not sure if this has been posted before, but here goes anyway.

I still haven't browsed the site yet. I was very impressed by the still images, though. The media page is said to have some samples of remixed GE soundtracks. I am guessing this is a pc fan-made spin-off using the Half-Life2 engine.

Discuss :D

Cool, but Goldeneye's time is over. It was a very revolutionary game, but honestly try and play it now and you probably won't have much fun with it.

^Yeah, we played it at Sk's hosue and were like "WTF is this?!" So we played the much more fun Time Splitters games instead.

^Lol. yeh, its because if the controls. Its the whole push UP to go forward, and push LEFT/RIGHT to go left right, instead of dual analogue

To be honest, I played GE with a couple of friends almost a year ago, and I couldn't believe how much fun it still was. I whooped their both a$$es. GoldenEye wasn't much fun to me playing against only one other person. Perhaps that's why you-Onbake- and SK didn't have much fun with it, let alone the control issues.

I do see why you guys aren't thrilled about the prospect of this HL2 powered GoldenEye. But personally I'd still wanna play this game, if only for its nostalgic feeling:).

Goldeneye is one of the only good shooters out there that used the best control scheme as the default. Not the one used in Halo. It's the one known as Radical B in Timesplitters.

The single-player hasn't aged well, but the multiplayer is still great fun.
