Does anyone listen to Tool, like their music, ever even heard of them, etc.? They are one of my favorite bands. Their music is awesome. It's hard to explain why though. Does anyone else share my same opinion? :cool:

I like some of their stuff. Not really m'slice 'o cheese though. They have talent, not as much as others, but it's good to have some "ok" stuff in the mix with the "absolutely shitty".

Yes, there is some shitty underground, in fact there is a lot of shitty underground, but I find that most underground music is better than mainstream.

Word. I don't like Tool because everyone else likes it, I like it because I enjoy listening to them. If someone say they suck or they are overrated, that's their opinion. It's not gonna change mine.

It's retarded. Not all bands make it to the mainstream because they play teenage-angst music. Tool doesn't do that. They made it cuz they're generally a good band.
