hey everyone, i need some help here. I should be getting this big ass computer soon, and it's be nice to play some online games on it. If you could suggest your 3 top online games, it would really help. btw, dont worry about specification. We got this real good £700 pc with ATI radeon 9700 graphics card, 1024MB and 160GB of space. :D Ive been waiting ages to play games online. thanks

Well, I play Age Of Empires 2 : The Conquerors and Diablo II : LoD, I find them both to be very good games, you should look into at least one of them :p

Other popular games online are :
Counter Strike, Warcraft and Starcraft.
Pluss there will be many more which I havent mentioned ;)

Nah, I'm good, I got a new PC back in December, awesome specs also, great value for money. Not as good as your soon to be PC however. :(

If you get Diablo II Lord of Destruction, make sure you register on USEast. ;)

lol, thanks every1 for your suggestions. Unfortunately, I wont be getting that pc, but we are getting a Dell PC which will be more than satisfactory :insertsmilie:. I found Diablo 2 for £10 so ill be on there soon enough alias/tooey, lol

What are the specs for the PC you are getting then?
Also, please if buy Diablo II, try to get Lord Of Destruction (the expansion) because it's really hard to get used to the non-xpac version after playing with the xpac for so long =P

I'm not gonna go nonexpansion. Just buy the Battle Chest if you guys have those in Europe. That's a good bundle that includes Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo II LOD (Expansion), and the Diablo II LOD Strategy Guide. That's what I did, it saved a lot of money.

And remember the realm that Tooey and I play on is USEast.

There's also Wolfenstein: http://games.activision.com/games/wolfenstein/ (Enemy Territory). It was intended to be a newly released single player / multiplayer game, but because the single player component didn't pan out, they decided to release the multiplayer portion free and completely stand-alone (meaning you don't need Return to Castle Wolfenstein to play it).

A bit of a download at 125+MB, but well worth it, as its everything great about RtCW multiplayer, only better.

Id say EverQuest, but its an aquired taste for most people.

Ive become very good at Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 so Id say give those a shot as well.

dont get evercrack, its not worth 12 dollars, get battlefield 1942, swat 3 is fun, half life is a must, and the new counterstrik (condition zero)

Call of Duty online is about as addictive as crack (not that I've tried crack...). Play it, you'll see what I mean.
