I watched a clip from the E3 footage of Vectorman over at insertcredit.com. There's not much to be impressed by. Combat is dull, environments unremarkable, ect. I suppose it runs pretty smooth. Woo. Anyways, here's an interesting tidbit from the Insert Credit article:
"The build that I played is supremely early, and I suppose it deserves credit for being as tight as it was on such short notice. Dom from Megatokyo informs me that the build I played is the result of a mere six weeks of development."
...yay? We're only just now hearing the details about this game and ALREADY they're rushing it out the door. Pardon my ignorance, but I thought that the idea of E3 was to impress people.
...And just what demographic are they going after with the new look? A mythical one of people who love bland third-person shooters? Gamers who don't like playing games? People who hate fun?
I'm also pissed at Vman's new look I mean, why do you think they called these guys ORBOTS? Dont tell me they mined for ore.
I guess the world is just against round robots these days. Look at the "evolution" of Toonami's TOM over the years. He used to be a rotund little guy with a beer belly, now he looks like a freakin' DBZ character. *sigh*
Anyways, I have decided to call this process REVERSE-BOMBERMANATION. Why? Look at this picture from one of the very first Bomberman games, the NES version: http://www.planetnintendo.com/thewarpzone/boxes/bomberman.jpg
Look familiar?
Now let's see Bomberman's latest incarnation: http://www.animedaisuki.net/images/anime-shows/bomberman.gif
Yep, I think there's a slight difference. Well, I feel a bit better venting all that out. Except for all the rage. That's still there. Pseudo needs to clean up their act fast, or it's CLOBBERIN' TIME!!*
*clobberin' time will consist of whining on message boards
