If you got it, what did you think of it? I just got it today, and have to say it kicks gdamn ass. Maybe some songs are a bit longer than i thought, but that shouldnt really decrease my enjoyment of it. tracks St.Anger, invisible kid, some kind of monster and sweet amber kick ass. What do you think?

I've heard the St. Anger single and it was damn good. I haven't heard the rest yet.

It's pure shit. 100% unadulterated ass. Are they trying to be a Nu-metal band or just a band of homosexuals? I hate new metallica! :mad:

I have to agree with psycho. I heard that st anger song on the radio and some others i thought they sucked really bad. The beat to the songs were bad what i thought, just didnt sound to good. There old stuff was alot better. And i wasnt to fond of that.

I like it... But then again I do prefer their old stuff...

Same here. I think their old stuff is a hundred times better, but that doesn't mean their new stuff is bad.

why was a PA placed upon it? Previously the only 2 albums Ive bought with PA's were enema of the state, and blood sugar sex magik. Is the content of this album better or worse in terms of obscenities?

There are two songs that say "fuck" a few times, and one song that says "shit." I honestly don't know why it got PA.

I prefer the older Metallica much better... I can't stand their new stuff at all.

I just got the album...and I love it. Not nearly as good as their old stuff, but it's excellent.

I loved old Tallica. I rememeber when I was like 17 going to anger mananagment and coming home. Going to my room and then just listen to them and Nrvana and ACDC for like hours. Damn I'm screwed up in the head.

I bought the new Metallica CD. I was kind of disappointed, because I was hoping that Metallica would sound like they did before "the black album" came out. They got the length of the songs, just not the guitar solos...or a lot of good songs. I like only 3 of the tracks (Frantic, St. Anger, and Invisible Kid) which isn't enough to say the CD kicks ass. Lucky me, I didn't have to pay full price for the CD.
