I don't think you're checking out the right punk music. You need to check out The Clash, The Distillers, The Misfits and The Ramones. Punk at your best. This new stuff is just.. Ugh.. In my opinion.
I can give you something completely new, but not many people you go to school with (or whatever) will have ever heard of them. It's hard rock/industrial.
Here's some of those:
KMFDM
Front Line Assembly
Snake River Conspiracy
Nine Inch Nails
Then there's your weird stuff.. That's usually used when most people are high. <ahem>
Portishead (They're awesome - However, very insane)
Smashing Pumpkins (Kickass :D)
Massive Attack
Then of course my "normal" music that you -might- like, not really hard rock though..
Garbage
Queens of the Stoneage
Pretty much the only 'newish' stuff I like. :meh:
But yeah - You say you're listening to punk. That's not punk. You need to listen to the real stuff, not that. ;) Those are people that want to be like the older punk. It prospered in the 80's, then that style just died... Unfortunately. I love punk, but don't have much patience for the bands that are labeled punk nowadays.
Good Charlotte and Blink 182 are ok though. O_o Blink 182 I didn't think was punk at all.. @_@ You need some more music variety.

Good Charlotte? Dear God save us from them...they're turd...(my opinion anyway...)
You could try:
Metallica (old much better than new)
Deftones
Well, actually, thats all I can think of at the moment...

None of those bands are punk. They're just popular rock bands (well, GOB isn't that popular in the U.S.) the media passes as punk.
Try some:
Dead Kennedys
Minor Threat
Black Flag
Bad Brains
Misfits
Zao
Those are some great punk rock bands. Hey, maybe you won't get tired.

Unloco (bad ass)
Living Sacrifice
Demon Hunter

I'm not really good with bands....I'm more of a song person...I usually go by songs, if I like a song or not, band doesn't really come into play unless I like almost every single song by them..which is rare

Wow, I like pretty much all you posted except for the black metal that's on the list. I'm not into all that anti-christian/devil worship stuff. I do however listen to Mayhem sometime for a laugh:ha: .
I would add Death and Control Denied to that list, because Chuck Schuldiner is awesome.
