Well...I'm done reading it, and I thought it was really good. From page 1, I thought that the book was very addictive, and it kept me reading. It was probably the best one in the series so far. What do you guys think about the book?

#4 wasn't that short. It was 734.

I'm gonna start reading the book again, because I'm bored, and because I missed a couple important details in it the first time.

 :D  :dog: My goodness that book was amazing! But now, it seems like everything has changed. Harry is darker, angrier(this was quite the emotional progression from last year), the public knows of voldemort, harrys godfather is dead! Good grief! Luckily though, he is no longer considered mad(again, a happy ending was reached in the book amidst all the turmoil.) I thought that "Dumbledors army" was interesting, at the least, and fred and george couldnt have made a better exit! Still though... "one of them will die of the others hand". Man. And the fact that Harry and voldemort are even closer than initially suspected... hopefully dumbledore will be more open to harry with the events of next year... but thats doubtfull. Also, the whole "order of the pheonix" idea was INGENIOUS! The first order of the phoenix, in which almost all of them died...how sybolic is it that essentially one of their ranks has already fallen? voldemort a halfblood... makes him look like hitler a bit... and neville being of the same qualities as harry... awesome. never suspected that. I hope they'll learn to trust snape more, and krucher pissed me off! fucking house elf!I wonder how harry id on his owls, she failed to revealed those to us... heres to hoping the next book doesnt take 3 years!

I just finished it. My 2 cents.

The book was good and just as addicting as the others, but I enjoyed reading it a lot less than the other 4 because it was so much darker than them. When I heard that an important person died in the book I was thinking it would have been Ron or Hermione. If it had been I would have been really pissed. One beef I have with the book is that it really didn't tell much of Mr. and Mrs. Weasley's reaction to what Fred and George did. That was the only thing I can think of that I didn't like.

I hope she doesn't take another 3 years to write the next one. I will feel kinda awkward going in to buy it when I'm 19, and even more awkward at 22 if she takes another 3 years to write the seventh.

I just finished, and I thought it was excellent.
I was shocked at the death, and alos wondered how they did on their OWLs.
I can't wait until the next (even though I'm nearly 15...god I'm sad) but I hope she doesn't take 3 years...

"We're not going to use magic?" Ron ejaculated loudly.

Don't Fred and George say something about keeping their peckers up...? Or was I seeing something?

I loved it. :D Well, what I've read of it. I'm on page 670 something, and I haven't been able to read it all that much because of work and all that.. But, oy, is it addictive..

I agree with Fade, though. Kreacher was a $%# of a house elf.. And Snape, he seems cool, I would've gotten along with him so well if he were my teacher. Just cuz, he's the shiznit. And I believe that Harry really has no reason to distrust him..

If I have to wait 3 years for another book, I will be so pissed off. :cussing:

hmm...good book overall, a few unexplained parts, such as results of O.W.Ls, etc.

Kreacher is cool. :)
taht decieving little bitching house elve. lolz.

Fred and George should have left with a bigger impact...

thats about it.

We shouldn't be waiting 3 years; the only reason it took so long this time is because she got married and had a kid while she was writing.

Well.. I just finished the book! :D And I didn't think I had any spoilers in that one post.

I can't believe Sirius died. :( So depressing.. I wish they would've gone into more detail about the O.W.L.'s too, and gotten a little more violent. Or had Harry show off his stuff and kill Bellatrix, or even him being the one to fight Voldemort instead of Dumbledore..

But.. In the end.. It was fairly good, a tad short though. Someone mentioned Harry being darker? I don't really get that bit. He's not darker.. The prophecy said one was good and one was dark, Voldemort obviously being 'dark'.. I'm also curious if Neville was even brought up in Voldemort's mind at all seeing as he had to have known something about them as his parents were in the Order.

And with Snape.. I don't see what's so bad about that memory, and why he had to put it into the pensieve. I've gotten teased like that before, and it never really made a mark. I guess it was mostly because it brought back something in his mind when he sees Harry.. Meh.. And if Draco has any affiliation with the Death Eaters then he should be watched...

It would be nice to see Kreacher put onto the wall next to his mother though, his head chopped off slowly. :D

I'm sure that the next book will be much better. :D

Its sad what their about to do with the movies...they are waiting till next june to release the third movie. By then they will be older than their roles (which they are currently the same age). This is the last time Director Christopher Columbus will be doing it and it is probably the last movie with those kids as the characters. One thing I hate about sequels is when they change the cast....when they do that...I fail to become attached and the whole movie is usually lost to me....like the sequel to Mortal Kombat.

Anyway Im about to start reading the new book..probably next week when I have the time. Ive hear many good things about it.
