[Skull Kid]

Anyone who ever played this game knows it fucking rocks and is nearly impossible to beat. I can only get to the second level before I end up getting a game over. Anyone else enjoy this game?

This game is fucking awesome, my cousin robert and I played it all the time when we were younger.

Beat the shit out of the game too, but yeah it's hella tough.

This game does rock balls, but its easy as piss. Me and my friend would go through it sometimes without dieng (like a challenge to us). But yeah we continuasly played that and Super C and the SNES contra when it came out.

I really liked Contra: Alien Wars on the SNES. The new PS2 one is pretty cool too, but it has no spread gun, which pisses me off. How the hell is it Contra without the spread gun? :cry:

Contra is great, but I prefer the Metal Slug series. Its like Contra on steroids. And crack.

Shattered Soldier doesnt have a spread? I thought that was just like the SNES version suped up.

I loved contra when i had it though i couldnt get past the first level cause i couldnt figure out how to jump i think my game was messed up cause i pressed every button. anyway though i gave it away and then found out it was selling for 70$ still and allmost cried, lol

The games aren't that difficult as boss patters are easy to figure out and there was always the Konami code. This thread made me pick up SNES Contra again and play through it with my sister. Fun game.
