Strategy Guides

Do you use them for most of your games? I just got SCII and the guide, and there's a lot of shtuff you could miss without the guide....aside from the move lists. I don't usually get strategy guides, but for complicated games I do.

I would only get guides that come free with games you reserve. I only have one for DMC and one for FFX. I prefer finding things for myself, mainly because Brady Games guides suck.

They do contain nice artwork though.

Thats why i dont use brady guides I use gamefaqs.com

really strat guides are a waste of money IMO just use gamefaqs if you get stuck

I only have a stragety guide for two games, DinoCrisis 1 - PSone, and Final Fantasy VIII - PSone. Its really helpful but its too tempting to flip to the back of the book to see what happens.

I have a lot of strategy guides, but rarely use them. I just get frustrated on certain spots and if I don't get through them I'll get really pissed... So I buy the guides in case I get stuck.

I've never bought a strategy guide for a fighting game, though...

ha ha, seriously though, you don't really need a strategy guide for a Fighting game

cause it's not really a strategy guide in the first place

It doesn't tell you who to beat or how to best them

so i don't really consider that a "strategy" guide

when i got ETM my friend had a guide for it and even with it he could barely hack, when without one i hacked the whole system in like no time at all
