Well... After doing an extensive search, I've found there's no thread like this. I'm surprised, oh well.

So - Who likes anime, and what are your favorite series/movies? I've been into anime for a couple years, not exactly hardcore, but one of my friends invited me over (I think it was 1998/1999), and her older sister was watching Serial Experiments Lain... Which got me hooked.

Ever since, I've been pretty addicted, especially to stuff that's involves a little more thought than the norm (Serial Experiments Lain, Boogiepop Phantom, etc.) But other than that..

I'm getting into the Zone of the Enders anime right now. I'm not really an animéniac, but it sure beats the hell out of standard cartoons.

Not a big fan of any particular anime. If it's on tv I'll usually watch, but I don't prefer any specific type or genre.

Rurouni Kenshin was better.

I like Tri Gun, BeBop and Outlaw Shadow.
Hellsing is probably my favorite series, I wish it wasn't so short.
I like other stuff.

Yeah.. It's kinda sad that Hellsing was so short. I've recently fiinished getting the entire manga series. It's definitely better than the show.

Miyazaki's stuff is really great, too. It's just a lot different than most other anime. :)

I still love Anime, but I've gotten over my obsession with drawing Anime, when I realized it was stupid and that every picture was the same thing. I've moved on to better artwork in my opinion.
