Good fucking movie. Great fucking movie. My god.. I haven't seen such a great movie since The Royal Tenenbaums.
Tarantino fan or not, you must see this film. It's over the top, it's way over the top, but that's what makes it so great. I won't go into specifics here.. but here's the general idea..
Bill kills everyone (9 people and wifes baby, she was pregnant) at the main characters wedding with the help of his cronies. He thinks he killed the wife, but she survives. The bullet threw her into a coma. She awakens 4 years later and starts her ass kicking, limb severing, blood bath journey of vengance, picking off Bills cronies first. Her weapon of choice.. a fucking samurai sword! Jesus H CHRIST! How can you go wrong?!
Oh, and for you nerds out there (you know who you are, hehe), there is a very powerful japanese animation sequence in here as well.
Go see it.

I might go see it tonight. I don't know. I heard it was good, but it pisses me off that it's in two parts.
No kidding psycho, I was really pissed to. Quentin fucked up when he decided to do that. Then again... he is going to make twice as much money. Fuck, N/M... he is a genius.

that anime scene where that girl kills that pedaphile is freaking gory. there was more blood than carrie. there is more heads getting chopped off than the medivel times.

As Daniel and Undead Fred are well aware, I have seen this movie 4 times. I am seeing it for a 5th time on Saturday. Simply put, this is the single greatest movie to watch when you are with your buddies and there is a wee bit of alcohol in your system. Uma Thurman is beautiful as usual and she kicks the everloving crap out of everyone. Tarantino raised the bar with this "fantasy world" film. You do not need to be a Tarantino fan to sit back, relax and say, 'Oh My God, this kicked my ass so hard it is numb."

I didn't like it. I like to watch movies that have a purpose, that set out to be funny or to be serious. Kill Bill was neither - certainly not funny, and certainly not serious. It was sort of twisted and pointless - and boring.
Can I asked what you liked about this movie?

There are lots of movies with mediocre plots and senseless violence. What set this movie apart from the rest?

We obviously have differing opinions on the subject. I have respect for your opinion and I would appreciate the same from you. Instead of trying to start trouble in my thread with weak insults to the movie, you could have just asked your question and left it at that.
But how am I supposed to answer that? You either liked it or you didn't, why should I try to change your opinion? You aren't worth my time or effort.

Yes.

What insults? First you acknowledge we have differing opinions, then say I am slandering your beautiful film.
you could have just asked your question and left it at that.
I couldof if you had answered it, instead of giving me a smart-ass reply.

Aw poo, what are you getting all pissy about anyway? You obviously put some time into evading my question.
My question wasn't rhetorical, obviously a lot of people liked it (the movie), and I just want to know why.
You're very defensive.

I am so stoked I just got my yellow suit on Ebay. If you do a search for Kill Bill Suit you will get an auction for this cotton suit that was made by the person who designed Uma's its so cool. Not tight and cheap like the ones given out as a marketing gag. So if you want one I would go there. I still can't afford the shoes but I got the suit. Hope this helps?

If I saw someone wearing a KillBill outfit in public I would cross the street
What if it was Uma herself?

You know, this may sound disgusting and wrong, but if I were to sell a genuine Kill Bill outfit, I would at least leave my mark on it.... put my babies on it, if you know what I mean ;). Oh and ... *reads*.. gabbi or whatever your name is, watch out for them protein stains.
BombermanX lives up to his custom title.
