i cant move anything on my desktop... it will just go right back to where it was... i turned allign(sp) to grid off already and still having problems... i also cant use my up and down arrows to scroll on websites :(

Align to Grid really doesn't do anything but make it straight. If you have it turned on to Auto Arrange it'll go back to where it was before, so make sure that's turned off.

As for the up and down arrows, I have no idea.

I have no idea man about that up and down thing that is weird check your keys and make sure there in working order on other programs cause it might be your keyboard. and what mandy said sounds right on the icons.
