Its a bitchin chip :). Its only $50 canadian and the games are about $12 each.

I got it yesterday, and its totally awesome. It adds an extra option called "Phoenix" in the main dashboard (along with Memory, Music and Settings.).

The good thing about this is, the chip technically does not load untill you go in the phoenix window, meaning your xbox is literally chipless, technically allowing you to go live (not sure if it would work with live 2.0).

If you had the XBN issue with Brute Force on the cover, I have the exact same (modified) chip that they talk about near the end of the magazine.

Other than allowing you to play burned games, it also lets you browse your xbox hd, see the real diskspace, edit the config files, change the dashboard (phoenix dash), copy dvd/games to hard disk, play mp3, divx etc.. format and many more!

I got Raw 2 and NBA Live 2004, and gonna get GTA Vice City and True Crime this weekend.

By the way, guess what other games I saw in the store.....N.U.D.E!!!! ....they actually have that game, and tons of other Japanese imports, totally bitchin. Now if I only could speak Japanese, I would buy NUDE and get a bitchin J-Review up =D

Nuts to modchips. Besides, importing is the only way to go if you want those flashy Panzer Dragoon Orta edition white Xboxes. They're the coolest thing I've seen in a while.

Have you seen anthing more badass?

Only 999 were made though. I'll need to shell out a HELL of a lot of cash to get one.

Bah, just get it professionally painted. I'm sure someone is a good enough artist to do that, and hell, maybe even the controller S as well.

That is, if you have an Xbox already...
