Aight. So at work we got in these PS2 and Xbox value packs. Each pack comes with the console and one controller. Each pack is $299.99 + tax. I'll leave my thoughts and opinions on them until the end.

- Robotech: Battlecry

Dan's thoughts on..
PS2's Value Pack
Not too shabby. You get three relatively good games, and then there's the jampack. Seriously. SUMMER 2002 Jampack!? Might as well give me a piece of cardboard. PS2 shirt? Could be cool.. I honestly do not know. Then again, it could be really lame. Now, if you don't like the games included with it, good news, all the games are in their original manufacturers wrapping, and will get you a good amount of trade in value at EB or GS. One thing they're missing.. dude, online shit?
Overall, I give it a 7/10.
Xbox Value Pack
What. The. Fuck? Okay.. to put this simply, you get 8 games, which is good.. but those 8 games are utter shit. Seriously.. Bruce Lee, Reign of Fire.. fuckin'.. THE THING!? What the hell were they thinking!? 2 months of free XBL? Eh, that's cool I guess. But the headset isn't included, which kind of sucks. That, and the only game that's online playable in the packis Tetris Worlds. If they were gonna push the free XBL they should have at least added in some more online games. Again, just like the PS2 games, if you don't like them, you can trade em in for some money. Though the games are so shitty, I'm not sure how much you'll walk away with.
Overall, I give it a 7/10.
OMG SAME SCORE NO THAT CAN'T HAPPEN, DAN. Well, it just did. I really think both sides could have done better with these deals.
