Translated Dutch Article Below:

"In the Famitsu, THE magazine of the japanese gamer, was an article this week about the Resident Evil guru: Shinji Mikami. He announced that he's busy with a new horror-concept for an XBox game, named POENA. This not-so-scary word has a sinister meaning in latin. "Punishment". Rrrr baby! Punish me!

It stays a rumour, but who knows? Maybe we can finally enjoy a masterful horror-game from Resident Evil guru Mikami. It's clear that it's not a sequel / prequel to Resident Evil, which appears exclusively on Gamecube these days." "

Untranslated Dutch Article Below:

"In de Famitsu, het lijfblad van de Japanse gamer, stond deze week een interessant artikeltje over Resident Evil guru; Mikami. Hij maakt daar bekend dat hij bezig is met een nieuw horror-concept voor een game op de Xbox, genaamd POENA. Dit niet erg beangstigende woord heeft een duistere betekenis in het latijn. "Straf". Rrrrrr baby! Straf me!

Believe it or not, xboxworld.nl is a very good site for news, they are correct about 95% of the time. Hopefully it's different than Resident Evil, though.

Hopefully it's a more action-oriented version of Resident Evil or something...that's more fast-paced.

I doubt it, Shinji seems to be into the Gamecube right now, but it could happen.

Xbox does not deserve the greatness of a Capcom Survival Horror game.

Xbox doesn't deserve the greatness of having an awesome controller.

Oh wait... it doesn't.

if u want an action orientated version of RE, thats what Dino Crisis sorta is. Dino Crisis sucked ass IMO. lacked any atmosphere compared to RE.

Whatever the case, we can all sleep easy at night because I'm sure it will have good graphics.

Yes... good graphics...

Rantings of jealous fanboys. Ah, how I have grown accoustomed to it.

I'm no fanboy, I have Xbox too, I was just stating the truth.

And actually, the Controller S isn't bad at all Future.

How am I jealous? GCN has the all the RE games exclusive (except RE:Online). You're getting one spin-off from them...I am soo jealous.

It'll sell about as well as Fighters Megamix for Game.com... it just makes no sense to even develop it.

Too bad Silent Hill, Clock Tower, etc. totally own Resident Evil. I have systems to play RE on, and it's a very, very mediocre game. And who say this XBox game is a spin-off?

Who's to say there's a survival horror game from Capcom coming to Xbox at all?

Where are your sources? Your early dev shots? The official Xbox.com annoucement?

Nobody. Notice the "?" at the end of the topic.

Unlike you, I never stated it as a fact. It's speculation, for now. Douche bag.

Argh, quit arguing, geez. All three systems are good, it's pointless to diss one.

Controller S is awesome, by the way. A very, very comfortable controller.

Actually, I don't care for the Controller S myself. I like the big boy. But then again, I'm used to the Dreamcast's controller.

DC's controller is one of the best ever...very nice.

Chris

The one thing I didn't like about the DC controller was how the cord came out of the bottom. It always felt like the system was tugging it, even when you secured it into that little nook it would come out.

My favorite controller is probably the N64 controller.

Travis

Meh, the N64 controller was too weak for me, but hey, it's all about opinions!

The cord coming out of the bottom was weird, yes. I guess they did it so the cord didn't get in the way of the VMU slots or something...oh well.

the gcn one is the best.

Travis

Yea, the Gamecube controller is really nice, it fits perfectly in my hands...but for some games it can be weird.

GCN controller is too small for me, PS2's is perfect.
