I've been having this problem with my computer for the past week or so. I get on the computer, then after a short time...the pictures will stop loading. I always have like "X number items remaining" when on websites and I can't even get to things when I open My Documents folder. I have to keep on restarting the computer in order to see pictures on the internet (and to get to my documents) for like....5-20 minutes.

I'm guessing it's a virus, or something, but I dunno. Any ideas?

Perhaps your memory is running low. And it is always a possibility that it is a virus. Run your virus scanner.

....I don't have a virus scanner. I did, but they expired and they want me to pay in order to upgrade. = \

Ok, did the virus scan, but I can't clean/delete 31 of the files since they're "in use" but yet...there from that "_RESTORE" folder. How do I get them to be not in use?

Adaware is by far the best thing ever. Go use that, or buy a new hard drive.

hmm...

it's probably spyware or adware hogging your bandwidth, causing extremely slow loading times.

if you don't have it, search SpyBot Search and Destroy. maybe that'll solve your problem.

...hmm, I'll search for it.

Is there any way to get those files from the "_RESTORE" folder to be not in use though?

Actually, Spybot was good. The picture thing has stopped, but there have been occasions where the computer freezes up for no reason.
