Which one should I get?

NES? Or SNES? Their $15 each at software etc. Games are real cheap too.

For 15 bucks, get them both. But if you had to choose, get the SNES, they had alot of quality games, and alot of them aged better than some of the older NES titles.

I'd choose the NES. Unless you're in to RPGs, you'll appreciate the NES more. And as Asarien said, they're much more rare.

Get both you fool. Snes has some real quality games like street fighter, final fights, final fantasy, secret of mana/evermore, zelda alttp, Killter instinct.

this is tough

without the NES u cant play river street ransom (i forget the name completely) or duck hunt of that awesome shit
and without SNES u cant play the RPGS and originial adventures

oh for ps2 HDD for socom and stuff? If i were you wait, 100$ for a 40 gig HDD is a complete assrape. a 40gig hdd for pc cost like 30$ brand new. I hear that this summer the HDD is coming out without FFXI and it will only cost 50$ that will be more reasonable.

SNES has some of the best games every IMO... then again the original Mega Man gamers were on NES and they were awesome... but i think Mario RPG, Zelda ALTTP (my fav Zelda ever), Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2 (3 sucked IMO), and some other great games beat out the NES... although my NES broke and i am looking for a new one.

Yea get the nes too man. Its worth it. Ive been offered 200 for my atari by a collector friend. Just imagine in about 20 years.
