You might not know this but Miramax will be releasing the entire Kill Bill Vol. 1 movie on DVD in Japan entirely in color. That means all the "Black & White" scenes that were originally shown in the USA & Euro movie theather versions will be in enitirely in color.
However, Miramax will only be releasing the KB-Vol. 1 DVD for the USA & Euro market with the "B&W" scenes intact as to avoid the dreaded "NC-17" (at least for the USA DVD market anyways).
Also, Miramax has no plans to re-release showing the KB Vol. 1 film alongside with the upcoming KB Vol. 2 flick.
Quentin Tarantino has expressed that he wants to do a trilogy of the KB films and the 3rd KB film will take place 15 years later after the events of the first duel to death of the Bride and her revenge on the Viper Death Squad Assassination Team -- the black chick & her daughter. The young black daughter will get her revenge against "The Bride"...that will be a cool fight to the death done in Tarantino style!
