Do you think Nintendo will go under whenever shiggy retires or do you think a new generation of developers fill the shoe of a gaming legend? Will there even be an impact in your opinion when the day comes for him to step down?

That will be one of the saddest chapters in all of gaming history since SEGA pulled from the hardware industry. But it will only be fitting for Shiggy to select the one person qualified for his relacement. And we all know he will do just as fine as Shigeru did. (Maybe the successor will be all for online play being an important factor now-a-days). :shifty:

when shiggy leaves it will be a dark day in the gaming world.....he is the genius that brought sooo many of the innovationsl titles that still have people playing them years later

How unfortunate it is that his innovativity isn't yet ready for today's average gamer who is too wrapped up in their HALOs, Counter Strikes, and other predictable RPGs and FPSers.
