Ya, so Halo PC should be coming out soon. I think it's been delayed a few times, but o well. Halo PC is gonna dominate Halo xbox. Think about it. Patches, updates, mods, skins, maps, weapons, and oh so much more. Besides, online capabilites will probably be better than halo 2's. Much more people will be involved in a multiplayer if it's on PC. Mainly because most people have a comp, and because the PC version is usually updateable, and modable. How badly will this affect xbox? Microsoft is countering with halo 2, but will it be as good as the first? Hopefully. I've played halo twice. The first time sucked because i didn't customize the controls. I was trying to play TS2, and that didnt work out to well. But the second time was great. I'll definitely get Halo PC.

How about you guys (and girls)?

This will efect Xbox sales cause this is how it could have been if it was only on Xbox...

If it was only on Xbox-2
Since it's also on PC-1

You'd have to hope so with the two years they would have worked on it after Halo Xbox. :eek:

Well, I have the Halo press release version 1.5 (beta) and it sucks balls. I have a good comp, capable of running HL2 with good graphics, and Halo freezes, doesnt run well, and to tell you the truth, doesn't look as good as the xbox version IMO. Controlling with a mouse is nice, and flying the Banshee is hella fun, and the new maps are cool. I'm hoping that when the game ships, it won't have these problems, or that it's just an older beta I have and they are fixed in the current one.

of course..you played a leaked beta copy that wasn't completed nor was optimized for most graphics cards..

i played it too, and i like the Xbox version better although the new rocket hog and the flamethrower is the shit.

i played it...it was nice


but i didn't see what the hype was all about. GTA had more replay value than this game, imo.

I love Halo, but I'd never buy an XBox, so I'm quite pleased with this news. I just hope that Bungie keeps its word and delivers to us the Mac version we've been waiting for since 2000.

They will make it available to mac users. All you have to do is throw away that piece of shit apple you have, and buy an xbox or a man's computer.

Anybody got requirements on this game? I'm getting a new comp and this kills 50% of my reasons to get an Xbox, another 25% will be gone as well with the PC version of Raven Shield, and then 15% killed by Jedi Academy for PC, finally......the last 10% shot down by KotoR for the PC. I just realized how useless an Xbox can be if you have a working PC...better controls on PC, better graphics, better experience all together. But if you don't have a working PC then Xbox is definitely a nice alternative. Oh and people wondering about Half-Life 2...that would be on my list of Xbox games shot down but I wouldn't get it for Xbox, since that would kill the whole gaming experience for me, either play that game on PC (the way it's meant to be) or not at all is what I'm thinking.

You can't shoot down the xbox just because it delivers the best of PC and console gaming, if you loved your cube so much then you wouldn't need to get a PC because your console would deliver these games, but then again gamecube is a dead console developers won't touch it YES get a PC!

That's one of the stupidest things anyone's ever said to me. If you equate Windows to manhood, then you've got a whole host of problems that need to be explored by a professional counselor.

BTW, I wasn't bashing the box...I was just joking, but I was making fun of what's his name :p. I really like the xbox, and think it has potential...as much as the other systems. They are all great in some form or fashion. But we all know...nothing beats the GBA right now ;)

I am suprised to see the new guests/members are fanboys.

Now, XBOX doesn't suck, if it does, then explain to me why Cube is in last place with its 99 dollar price, a free game (still going on??) and other dropped prices.

So, Halo is a good game either way you put it. I will be getting it, so I can kick Colins ass in it.

Halo is an XBOX port. It feels good to say that.

The Xbox version of Raven Shield is going to absolutely blow away the PC version. Mark my words. Ubi Soft has changed the game so much (you can order around your 'mates with the XBL Voice Communicator, they added effects from the Splinter Cell engine, and tweaked the game all-around). This game will be HUGE on XBL.

I have consoles for games, my PC is for school, work and the like. I don't play games on my PC, well besides solitare and mindsweeper.

First off, I wasn't being too serious, and I don't think Macs are crap. And did I ever once mention Windows? You can have a complete PC with more functionality than an Apple with it having nothing to do with Microsoft. There is an OS called Linux you know.

Fair enough, allow me to rephrase my comment. Anyone who equates any operating system with manhood, or attacks the manhood of a person on the basis of their choice of operating system are in need of counseling.

Halo is an XBOX port. It feels good to say that.Apparently, you haven't been keeping up with it. It's NOT just a box port. It has many xtras...enhanced graphics for powerful cards *it feels good to say that :p*, extra ONLINE multiplayer levels, voice communication, an extra vehicle...so on and so fourth.
