well as many of you know microsoft released a new trailer of halo 2. well if you noticed at the end when the xbox logo is spreading the words "www.xbox.com" change to "www.ilovebees.com".
If you visit the site it has a LOT of subliminal messages that obviously link to halo 2.
This is what I have seen on websites such as IGN. there is a countdown on the main page of ilovebees.com so that is where the numbers come from.
Now keep these in mind, it's very intresting.
Aug 24, 1995 Microsoft inflicts Windows 95 on an unsuspecting world.
Aug 24, 1456 Printing completed on the Gutenberg Bible.
Aug 24, 79 AD Mt. Vesuvius erupts for the first time, destroying Pompei.
In 3 days, network throttling will erode.
In 17 days this medium will metastasize.
COUNTDOWN TO WIDE AWAKE AND PHYSICAL:
31:05:20:04:469
this is what the countdown stated.
"In 3 days, network throttling will erode." They are currently beta testing. In 3 days, they will stop.
"In 17 days this medium will metastasize." (metastasis- to grow, infect, spread, or replicate) Halo 2 goes gold and they start mass producing the discs.
COUNTDOWN TO WIDE AWAKE AND PHYSICAL:
31:05:20:04:469 --Bungie, in accordance with the August 24th tradition, releases halo 2, unexpected, to the world.
--------------------------
I believe this is true, because if you think about it Halo 2 has already been given the rating of M for Mature by the ESRB. Not only that, but it's a known fact, the ESRB only rates COMPLETELY FINISHED games.
I think Bungie and Microsoft is planning to fuck us all up. Why? Will it lose hype? No. Halo 2 has already gained hype from the past 2-3 years...
I really think November 9th will be the release date for the demo that you could get from OXM, or whatever.
this is reaaally weird, IMO.

An unexpected release? That's not always good for sales. But what the fuck do I know, it's fucking Halo 2.
Maskless grunts look fucking ugly. I hope that they still retain their Gir-from-Invader-Zim-like voices in the sequel. Mask or not.
EDIT: I followed the link. That's very elaborate. Web hoaxes and puzzles like that have been done before and are cool (as long as they aren't misleading).
I remember a couple of years back when BMW was introducing the Z4, before anyone knew about it, there was a huge treasure hunt. On major websites such as apple.com, there would be a small, clickable symbol somewhere on the page that was identical to one that showed up on bmwusa.com for no reason what so ever. The link took you to a blank website, but in tha address bar was assumibly an IP address, but was really a phone number. Which led to a street address. Winners got to testdrive the Z4 before it's north american debut. It's really incredible how elaborate that one was.
It's Halo 2. Best. Game. Ever. Release it and they will come. Nobody cares if it's finished, or if it was already finished like 2 years ago. We just want it.

I think your just reading too much into it
WTF? The website, ilovebees.com, has nothing to do with Halo 2... Please explain.

no, but if u go there, the site has a message pop up with a countdown. Why would they put that site link in a halo 2 trailer if it has nothing to do with halo 2?
I got the countdown, that was a bit strange, but I didn't really see anything else. The site concept was a bit strange and there was weird overlapping text everywhere though... That's what I didn't get.

did u go the link on the bottom of the page?
The blog? It looks like she just got spyware or a virus or something... I don't know why this would be linked to Halo.
OMFG I finally get it! HALO 2 might be released on aug24! That's brilliant!

I heard that a single player demo will be released August 24. If you look closely and the words "SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX" on the ilovebees site, you would notice that those first letters can also spell something else: "Single Player Demo Release", so that could be what all the hype is about...
from the IGN boards, about the ilovebees site....
The domain was registered 6/14 of this year, so not long ago, it expires 5 years later. That's kinda pricey, a 5 year domain name is a couple hundred dollars. Odd, but certainly not unheard of.
The name strikes me as a bit odd, Margaret Efendi, particularly the last name, perhaps an anagram for something? That last name looks like it was made up of leftover letters when trying to make an anagram. It's also not a very common name, and the only place I've ever heard the word "effendi" (two Fs) used is as an arab term for "sir" or "master". "Master" Chief? Hell if I know. Any thoughts?
The phone number on there is a valid one, but a quick call to it turns up as the voicemail box for Dana, the girl that runs ilovebees.blogspot.com (aka the hot girl on the website). The voicemail box is conveniently "full", though anyone who's ever used a voicemail service will probably notice that the message stating the voicemail box is full sounds a bit too "canned", like it's part of the actual recording and not the voicemail service saying it's full. No voicemail carrier is given either, which is strange. And it picked up after half a ring. So either it's a real voicemail box that is actually flooded with geeks like us, or it's a very clever setup by MS/Bungie, which is where my vote goes. I have to hand it to them, they certainly covered all the bases.
As for the address, that I don't know. I'm on the other side of the bleeding country, so I can't really do much checking into that. Anyone in or around San Fran want to drive by it and see what's located there? An empty building? A storefront? A MS branch office? Is it even a real address?
Anyway, this is what I've found so far, hopefully this helps someone in further deciphering the mystery that is ILoveBees.com
more weirdness:

Anyway, Halo 2 already has an ESRB rating. The ESRB only grades FINAL COPIES. That means that the game is finished, right?

It was announced that it will be available to buy at Best Buy in the beginning of November(actual date escapes me) in the latest weekly thing. They announced that you can reserve it there.

I think that her site is being controlled (not really of course) by ..........Cortona! Or some other form of AI from halo. Check out this link

SP demo? That seems a bit more probable than a full game release... On OXM, I believe... I'll get the Sept. issue.

Yeah, but bungie said they have NO plans to release a demo of any kind for Halo2. they don't want to ruin the surprise.
BTW, cheatmaster, if you want info, read the 50+ pages of this crap at Bungie.Net's New Mombassa Halo2 forum.
Ahh... Maybe they're releasing the full game on that day? That would be nice...

I saw this when I highlited the text to show to a friend
However, when I re-loaded teh site and checked again, it didn't happen.
Oh well, speculate away.
Don't know about the first one, but the second one is a countdown, a timer until Halo 2 comes out, presumeably.

I'm talking about all the seekthetruth busineess
It seems to be repeating:
Seek the truth
Behold the truth
Reveal the truth
But in a very roundabout and confusing way. What could they mean by 'the truth'? When Halo 2 comes out, maybe? Could that be the truth? That would mean that we should seek the release date, then behold it, and then reveal it to other people we know?! I'm stuck...

Some times when you visit bungie.net, it says "The tru7h, the whole tru7h, and nothing but the tru7h"...find some semblance inb that.

I know... Someone told me that the whole third level trailer/rolling demo thingymajiggy is relased then.
Dunno... Why a seven (7) in the truth... There's a site called 7th column dedicated to Halo stuff, could it have something to do with that?

Bungie stated a while back on their forums that neither a demo nor the game is not going to be released on August 24th.
I personally think it's just going to be a special edition of OXM with a lot of new info. They did, after all, have an advertisement of an issue of the mag covered in wrapping paper (with a corner torn so you coud see it was OXM) with a tag that reads "Not to be opened until August 24th!"

Some people already got that OXM, its available at some book stores. There is no new info and no new screenshots.

The demo is supposed to be available, but, I think it's only to members of the press... not sure on that yet though.
