Yeah, lots of cool games, the ones you should get are THPS1, FFVII(Not a big ff fan but I liked this one a lot) Metal Gear Solid 1, Syphon Filter, Marvel Vs. Capcom, Street Fighters Alpha 1, much more. Plus you can pick one up for like $30 and a game for like $6. Buy it. Buy it now.

You should definately get one. PSX was the greatest system ever invented. I suggest you get all of the Final Fantasys, chrono cross, , and legend of dragoon. These are the only games I have for PSX, but they kept me entertained for a long long time. Buying my PSX was the greatest decision I have ever made. I have a few PSX'S if youw ant to send me shipping money I will give you one.

Or just get PS2 and play it on that.

Of course there is something to be said for gaming nostalgia.

you can't go wrong with buying a ps1 (if you don't already have a ps2). it's great system that's super cheap and you can buy new/used games dirt cheap.

how can the ps1 be better than the ps2 if the ps2 plays all the games from ps1 and ps2 games, oh and has a dvd function.

so if u dont want to ever play any ps2 games, fine go be cheap and buy a ps1, but think about the future....i'd go for the ps2 myself

the ps1 is better because it has more thought put into its games, unlike thier recent ones.

Sorry I mean game-wise. Ps1 looks cooler then ps2. And the start up music is cooler too. ps2 looks like a 70's 8 track player. ps1 looks more like a game console.
