Title speaks for itself. I'm sure favorite songs change a lot.. So I wanted to make a new thread, wherever the old one is. :)

My favorite song is Inertia Creeps by Massive Attack.

It pretty much has been for a really long time. It just fits me so well. :/

Favorite band is KMFDM (in sig).. Massive Attack probably ranks in at #2. They're extremely talented, and I'd love to go to one of their concerts.

I wish I could listen to some of them more often or could find CDs.

The one song I always love to listen to whenever I see it's coming on this online radio station was Scala - I Touch Myself. If I saw it was coming on, I would be there till ti was on or come back when it came on, just to hear it.

But my favorite song that I lsiten to alot nowadays is probably Twisted Sister - Burn In Hell.

When I was young I would put Stairway to Heaven on repeat, I listened to it so much, that I began to repeat all of the notes back into my head after hearing it, and be able to match the exact pitch.

It was weird. It's not my favorite, though. My favorites from Zepplin are Black Dog, Misty Mountain Top, Kashmir, Heatbreaker, and Tangerine.

Stairway to Heaven is a given, I've just listened to it so much that after awhile it became somewhat old.

Yep, I'm old school :)

Don't you ever say that again.

And right now, it's probably "The Ending" by Metroid Metal. Now, Metroid Metal is not a band, but rather a project by a man named Grant Henry. But back to the song. Yes, the woman singing at the end of the song... what she's saying... it just makes me so sad. Nothing I've listened to has quite the same effect on me...

Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name...and Cradle of Filth's cover isn't that bad either

Alas, Metallica is my favorite band, but I can't pick a number 1 favorite from their songs...I like many of them.

Top 5 songs!

5: RJD2 - Ghostwriter
4: Prefuse 73 - Suite For The Way Things Change
3: Boards Of Canada - Everything You Do Is A Balloon
2: DJ Shadow - Midnight In A Perfect World
1: Radiohead - Paranoid Android

But I made it so that no band/artist was on the list twice.
Now I shall list my top five albums.

5: Komeda - What Makes It Go?
4: Unkle - Psyence Fiction
3: Boards Of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children
2: DJ Shadow - Endtroducing
1: Radiohead - Kid A

And now, top five bands and artists.

5: Prefuse 73
4: Daedelus
3: Boards Of Canada
2: DJ Shadow
1: Radiohead

This used to be so much easier when I only really listened to five bands.

edit:: I will list them!!!

5: Primus
4: Tool
3: Millencolin
2: Daft Punk
1: Radiohead

How I have grown.
I mean, I still like Primus, and I like Daft Punk too, only not as much as I used to, and I don't really listen to Tool much anymore, but I want to sell my Millencolin CDs.
And Radiohead are my first and all-time favorite band.
Actually, they weren't the first.
When I was a really little kid I loved Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Back when they were funky.
I still prefer that era of RHCP.

Yeah, back when they worked with George Clinton. That stuff ruled.

haha I was skeptical about DJ Shadow at first, because of the fact that he has "DJ" in his name, figured it'd be really generic/boring techno. I listened, though, and it was a welcome surprise.

Yeah, he was one of the first hip-hop artists who changed my whole view on hip-hop and DJ music altogether.
The song that I first heard was 'Organ Donor (Extended Overhaul)'.
Coutesy of Arbee's reccomendation.
