I think this was the Brit's way of making fun of Americans on Sept. 11th. In a evil little Rareware office somewhere in Britain or wherever.

Overly Seeking Approval Worker: "Boss, I got this great idea!"

Boss: "What is it? What is it son?"

Overly Seeking Approval Worker: "Well, I've been thinking. Tomorrow is September 11th. Americans will be mourning and dealing with pain. Since they kicked our asses in the Revolutionary War, I think this would be a great time to strike back!"

Boss: "Hhmmm... What exactly do you have in mind dear old chap?"

Overly Seeking Approval Worker: "Well Sir, I was thinking. You know how Americans really loved Perfect Dark 64 and our other endless amounts of countless fantastic games?"

Boss: "Yes... continue on."

Overly Seeking Approval Worker: "Well sir, get this. What if we just said, 'to the bloody hell with Americans' and stripped away a game they've been waiting for for over 6 years now. Yes, what if we just said screw you guys and sold our sole to the devil?"

Boss: "Well we certainly can't continue to slack off and drink tea anymore as we keep delaying popular GameCube titles can we? Are you suggesting we sell ourselves to Microsoft?"

Overly Seeking Approval Worker: "Why yes sir, of couse. Now you're catching on. Don't you..."

Boss: "Genious! Promotion! Excellent idea! This will be the perfect revenge. Them damned American Nintendo fans will now get to watch the Xbox fans play Perfect Dark Zero while we make millions! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dude, Brian... I feel your pain. We know what Rareware did was stupid and gay. But just chill. Nintendo owns 49% of Rare and with they still have half of their power. I know it sucks but I have a feeling something good will happen soon... Goodbye Rare, Hello Sega.

2) Nintendo is selling / sold their stocks to Microsoft
3) It is still unknown which console Sega is going to. Wouldn't you love it if they chose Microsoft aswell? Think about it, they're the only people who hasn't tried to put them out of business ;)

Yes. What Rare and Microsoft are planning on doing is "officialy" announcing that Microsoft has acquired Rare after SFA will be released; besides, Nintendo owns Star Fox.
